🏝️ Phi Phi Islands
• One of the most popular areas for diving from Krabi.
• Shallow reefs, dramatic walls, pinnacles, and coral fields.
• Common sightings: turtles, barracuda, reef fish, and sometimes blacktip reef sharks.
• Great variety of dive sites for all levels.
🔹 Hin Daeng & Hin Muang
• Famous deeper sites west of Krabi.
• Fantastic for sightings of manta rays and whale sharks in the right season.
• Best suited for experienced divers.
🚢 King Cruiser Wreck + Shark Point & Anemone Reef
• King Cruiser: a ferry wreck resting at ~30 m supporting schools of fish.
• Shark Point and Anemone Reef: colourful coral pinnacles home to soft corals, turtles, and leopard sharks.
• Some sites are more advanced due to depth and currents.
🪸 Ao Nang Local Islands
• Closer to shore and great for beginners or refresher dives.
• Shallow coral gardens, swim-throughs, lots of small marine life.

📅 Best Time to Dive
• Peak season: November – April / May — calm seas, clear visibility (15–30 m), and best weather for diving.
• Shoulder months: April–May and October–November can still offer good conditions, though variable.
• Monsoon season: June–October means more winds/currents and potentially rougher water — diving is still possible but less predictable.
Water temps in Krabi are warm year-round, usually 27–30 °C, so thick wetsuits aren’t typically necessary
