Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals—no wonder this is one of the most popular PADI courses! If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver.

During your PADI Open Water Diver course, you will have learnt about dive computers. When you use a dive computer, it will extend your dive time as it accurately tracks and calculates your no-decompression time, unlike dive tables, which assume you spend all your time at the deepest depth.
