Course Details

This exciting taster course lets Open Water divers experience five different speciality areas – including mandatory Deep and Navigation dives – through introductory sessions rather than full certifications. It’s the perfect way to discover which advanced diving disciplines excite you most before committing to complete speciality courses.

You’ll gain practical experience across five diving domains while developing foundational skills that enhance safety and enjoyment. The programme serves as both a skills refresher and a guided tour of advanced diving opportunities, helping you identify where to focus your continuing education for maximum personal reward.

Practical Details:

  • Prerequisites: SDI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
  • Minimum Age: 18 (10-17 with parental consent)
  • Junior Limits: Max depth 21m/70ft (10-15yrs), dry suit minimum age 12
  • Requirements: 80% pass on knowledge review + 5 experience dives

Many participants go on to complete full speciality courses in their favourite areas, while others use it as a stepping stone to Rescue Diver training.
